Hello weekends! This is a quick post..
It's the first day of Crafty Days #7 by Tobucil & Klabs at Gedung Indonesia Menggugat - Bandung. There are a bunch of local brands that sell handmade products at this event. Sooo many cute little things that I wish I could brought home. But seeing them is actually a very much fun though, heheee..
Lots of crafty thingy, from a tiny cutey monster that was made of socks, to hand-sketched tote bags and cushions, and also some other adorable handmade plushies..
Last week our nephews, their mother and mbak Dewi came from Jakarta and spent some days here in Bandung. The kids love drawing and painting and cooking and so many other things, hahaa.. What an active little girls. It's nice having some scream and laugh from those kids sometimes. :)
This is what happened when they have meet our drawing things.. I just teach Kennar a new technique of using watercolor with tissue and sponge, and it went very well. She's a quick learning.
They were in love with my glitter pens, they even draw on their arms and legs with it, haha.. I didn't get the picture because they went to the bathroom just a few minute after it.
Anyway, we went to Toko Coklat to have an afternoon tea (and coffee) time. It's not very surprising to see a rainbow cake in pastry shop lately, since it is now one of the most fancy cake in town. Kennar fell in love for the first sight when she saw the colorful cake, while her little sister Puan was more interesting to their homemade ice cream. Me and Sats, of course we choose some nice Illy coffee for that lovely bright afternoon.

This is what I did in Muara Bungo - Jambi. We called it "malam bainai" in Sumatra. Literally, it means "henna night". The night before wedding day, the bride's nails will be given henna, so that on the wedding day she has a beautiful red nails.
Usually they use the henna only on their nails, but my cousin want it on both of her hands (just like the Indian bride), so as her wish, I draw her hands, both front and back sides. Too bad I didn't get a chance to take a picture of her palm hand in the morning.
Happy wedding day, my dear sister..!! :)
YVES SAINT LAURENT, ROUGE PUR COUTURE VERNIS À LÈVRES GLOSSY STAIN
Really love the red! :)
It's been so long since my last post. I just got back from Jambi for my cousin's wedding with my mom and got quite a severe flu. :( But then this last 7 days has been so amazing with a lot of cake and cookie orders. Baking is exhausting when you have to do it all alone (we no longer have any house maid now), but smelling the cake or cookies right after they leaved the oven is just one of the best thing in the world! hahaa..
Painting some peanuts for the cookies container, hahaa..
And finally got this Elle Indonesia April edition. I've been searching it for a few days, and finally got it at BBC bookstore, and this was the last one that they had! Well, I think I'm gonna need more time to read all of the 1000+ pages..
Have a nice day!
I wanted to post this quite a long time ago but didn't really have a time to do that but anyway, this is one of my favorite from Miu Miu last runway that I saw on Vogue.it.. Simply cute!
Ooops..! I know, it's like way too late.. But still it is Fall in Europe, isn't it..? ;)
Have a nice November everyone! It's rainy here in Bandung so don't forget your coat or sweater or jacket and bring a nice bright umbrella to shine up the day.. You know, it's nice seeing people using a yellow umbrella under the rain. (^^)

Love her tosca maxi skirt.. Anastasia from Brown Platform.
I removed the eye cause I don't really like the after-paint result, hehee.. sorry.. :P
Evita Nuh from The crème de la crop.
I drew it too big on an A5 sized paper so I had to "cut" her legs. Whoaaa.. so sorry! Anyway, she wear a pair of red converse sneakers that matched her coat. Cute!
One of my favorite from La Vanille first collection..
I haven't use watercolor for months and kinda miss 'em, so I put some down on my paper and.. I think I started to get addicted to it. I know I'm not a pro but I love what I'm doing so.. Just do it! ;)
Day 3
Off to Borobudur and Jogja!!
People are keep staring on us when we took those pictures with a yoga pose. Hahaa.. I know, it's a public space, and you might think it's funny to see people do a weird pose for their photo, but it's fun anyway.. ;)
Beautiful, isn't it..?? Borobudur Temple is the biggest Buddhist temple in ninth century.
Come visit Borobudur here in Central Java - Indonesia.
Day 4
Uniquely Semawis..
Pasar Semawis is a kinda like Chinatown fair in Semarang. Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night along Gang Warung road. There are so many things that you can find here, from variety kind of cuisines to beautiful jewelries..
Look at that! There's a stand that sells Hello Kitty's stuff. Cuuutteee!!
Another interesting thing is a stand that sells quick-handmade Chinese painting. This guy name Suharto Martanto (Tan Eng Tiong) is amazingly genius. He made such a beautiful Chinese ink painting in a shortest time that I could have ever imagine. Too bad my camera and all of our phone batteries were out at the same time so I could only got a few pictures of his art works. But he told me that he is using facebook so for you guys that are wondering, see his page over here.
By the way, if you want to learn how to make Chinese ink painting, he would love to teach you there at Semawis. Just come to his place at Jalan Gang Warung 86 Semarang - Indonesia.
Day 5
Last night, enjoying the coffee at S2.

S2 a very interesting place. They have 7 different places inside of it, including 3 different restaurant, one bakery, 2 ice cream and yoghurt stand, and a gym. Well, what's the problem of having a gym above the restaurant? None! Hahaa.. (^^)
Anyway, since we didn't have much time left before we leave, we decided to come here and have a quick relaxing time having coffee and tea. Oh I wanna go back there to taste some other food and beverage sometime..
