I found another great cafe in town, yippy..!! \(^o^)/
I have seen it couple weeks ago actually, guess it's new back then because I saw their big soft-opening poster in front of the cafe. Today me and Sats stopped by there after shopping some equipment in Suniaraja and Cikapundung, hohooo..
Green Cake & Coffee |
It's my first visit, so I ordered a hot caffe latte as usual, and Sats ordered a hot cappuccino. I though my latte would have some kind of latte art on top of it, but nnnggg.. no, it's not.. mmm.. I was a lil bit disappointed but that's fine..
Anyway, here are the cakes that we had at the Green Cake and Coffee.
Chocolate Fondue |
They write it like that, "Chocolate Fondue". I wonder why they named it after a fondue instead of Chocolate Volcano, Choco Lava, or something like that. That's the name that I usually know for a cake like that, you know, a chocolate cake with an uncooked part inside of it that makes it looks melt down when we cut the cake with spoon? But anyway, I love how they served it. With caramel,a scope of vanilla ice cream, strawberry and almond slices, it came out really great. And the cake was.. absolument delicieux..!! XD
Fruit Of The Forrest Mousse |
Meet this sweet and sour lady. I guess it's a mix of raspberry and blueberry. There's a lil of raspberry jam in the middle of the cake. Hmmm.. nice one.. ;)
We bought another 2 cakes for take away, it's Tiramisu Fairfait, which I believe that it should be "Parfait", and Neufchatel Au 'something'. - it's a cheese cake with strawberry and jelly on the top of it.
Tiramisu Parfait and Neufchatel Au 'something' |
Over all the cake were sooo yummy.. But uummm.. Although it was not bad, but I think the latte needs a little bit more 'coffee taste' because the milk taste seems like covering the coffee so that I barely felt it. (and I really wish my caffe latte came with the latte art, hehee..)
How I love looking at their cake display fridge..
Prices (not including tax) start from:
IDR 15,000 for cake
IDR 14,900 for coffee
IDR 8,000 for bread

I just got a chance to try the new McCafe at McDonald's Dago Bandung today. It's funny actually, we were on our way to PVJ when I reeeeally really need to go to the toilet and we decided to stop by the McDonald's on Simpang Dago as we were passing through it, hahaaa..
So, we sat there for a while, Sats bought hot cappuccino and I chose to have Jasmine Tea instead of coffee since my stomach was not in its good mood. :P
Tasseo.. A new brand I thought, I asked the waitress and she told me it's under Sosro brand. Then I searched for it and found out that they both are actually under the same label named Rekso, it's one on Indonesian largest beverage company. Anyway, the tea was really good and I love the jasmine aromatic. Too bad they don't have chamomile, I really love that one very much. I think I have to try the other tea from Tasseo too..
The weather in Bandung is really unpredictable nowadays, don't forget to bring your jacket and umbrella when you go out. Have a good day.. ^^

Sats just came back from Bali and brought us the famous Arak Bali. I searched for the cocktail recipe and found some called "Arak Attack" that use either Arak Bali and Brem Bali, while Sats was actually had mixed them with MM Pulpy Orange and Sprite soda, hahaa..
He does that a lot, guessing and thinking and make it happen.. Doesn't matter whether the result is good or just not really bad. But on this one, he did it well, hehee..
Have some fun with this Attack Of The Arak recipe.. ^^
Igredients:
Arak Bali
Minute Maid Pulpy Orange, or any other orange juice will do
Sprite, or any other clear soda
Lime slice
Put the Orange Juice first, then slowly put Arak Bali and then Sprite. Use the back of the spoon if you want to make it nicer by separating the yellow and the clear one. Put lemon slice for garnish, and done..!! easy huh?? heheee.. ^^

So I went to Dago Atas, with my family, and stop by at a restaurant named Baso Kepala Sapi. Wondering what is that means? Literally it means "Cow Head's Meatball", hahaaa.. But don't get mucky first because it doesn't as yucks as it you imagine.
It's kinda funny when I first catch their board name. They said that the meatball there are made from some parts of cow's head, like the cartilage and (of course) meat. I tried some of the meatballs and they are delicious, hahaa.. I felt even more funny when I thought about the cow's head and still chewing my meatball.. :P
The prices are from Rp 7,000 to Rp 17,000 for each portion of meatballs. Mine was called BKS Spektakuler, contains of Jumbo meatball, Siomay (kind of dumpling), Tofu-meatball, 2 cartilage's meatballs, served with Bihun (angel hair), yumm.. Make sure to bring your jacket because it's kinda chilly there, especially at night.. ;)
