Hello weekends! This is a quick post..
It's the first day of Crafty Days #7 by Tobucil & Klabs at Gedung Indonesia Menggugat - Bandung. There are a bunch of local brands that sell handmade products at this event. Sooo many cute little things that I wish I could brought home. But seeing them is actually a very much fun though, heheee..
Lots of crafty thingy, from a tiny cutey monster that was made of socks, to hand-sketched tote bags and cushions, and also some other adorable handmade plushies..
For you who like the king of the foods - durian, this place is worth to be visited. I tried their special durian pancake yesterday and it taste really nice! What makes it special is they made everything by themselves, from the pancake to the filling. And it's a real durian pieces that is in the pancake, with a nice cream to balance the strong taste.
And if you are a fan of an iced dessert, try this one out, Es Saus Durian! It contains about 5 pieces of durians in a bowl of fla and coconut milk with shaved ice on top. Gosh!! It's been a long time.. Ever since I got pregnant I stoped to eat durian, and now it taste like heaven on earth, hihii..

Found this cute little plain notebook by Adapt at Unkl347 store Bandung yesterday..
The cover design was in collaboration with Koinuma Aya.
We went to Trademark at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. It was Qavi's first big mall outing! And it looks like he enjoyed it very much..
We stopped in The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to grab some snacks. It's been a very long time since my last visit to Coffee Bean, due to an unpleasant event that happened years ago. Thanks God it didn't happen again this time! Anyway, we had a Chicken Curry Pie (or something like that, I forgot the name of the dish) and a hot Mocha Latte (and I also forgot this one's real name on the menu, hahaa.. pardon me! I lost the bill..). The coffee is good.. The pie? Hmm.. I think it was o.k!

Anyway, I once read a blog that said Toko Coklat have a special cake called Inbox, and I finally tried one. There are two sizes available for this cake. The small one is just a perfect couple for a cup of coffee. The other one is a bit larger so it might be nice for a gift. Wondering why the waitress never offered me this cake before..
Chocolate Inbox |
Inbox cake is simply a chocolate cake. But I tell you that the taste is not that simple. The cake is very delicate, with a nice chocolate ganache (with a few drops of rhum, I think) in every layers, and cover up by a creamy chocolate. Think I could eat it more and more!

I got invitation to try out Rollaas Cafe last Saturday. They said that it runs by local people and also use local products on their menu. Almost all of the ingredients are came from several farms along Java island, especially their coffee and tea selections.

The place is not too small, with simple interior filled the color of woods and coffees. I guess there will be enough room for about 50 persons there. Quite a nice place to have a casual meeting and friends or family gathering.

So, I ordered Strawberry Blush Smoothie and a hot Macadamia Creme Caramel Latte for Sats. They said that they plant their own macadamia trees, and they grow together with the coffee and chocolate trees on the same farm. Both of these drinks taste good. They even smash the macadamias fresh at Rollaas, with the vintage nutcracker (which I thought so cool, haha..).

Rollaas Fish n Chips and Fettuccine Carbonara for lunch. Taste good, and the one that they served looks almost as same as the one that was on their menu book. The prices are a bit high for some foods but don't have to be worry because they came with quite a big portion. They have various foods to offer by the way. Pizza, steak, pasta, and also some of Indonesian dish like Sop Buntut and Rawon.

Finally, Rollaas Black Coffee, their specialize. Their coffee was good actually. And the option is vary, from espresso to peppermint for hot coffee, and a lot more of iced coffee infusions. They said that the owner asked a professional barista to make special mixes for their menu. Well, I really want to try every single of them. But maybe another time, since I still have to cut my caffeine consumption because of this baby bump, hihii..

There is this new place selling Italian gelato in town called Zaza. I saw it few weeks ago but tried it just yesterday. Got a little confused when I had to choose but then I go with this Blueberry Yoghurt. The gelato is just as smooth as silk! I mean it's like really really smooth, melt in your mouth..
There are lots of options for their gelato, from Strawberry, Cookie n Cream, to Nutella and some other various unfamiliar flavors that they mixed. Located in one place with Blitzmegaplex, the place is not really big. With an open space design, they add a few tables and high chairs so customers could sit while having their gelato.

Ya Kun Kaya Toast is our most favorite coffee stall so far. Tried it for the first time at PVJ several years ago and kinda addicted ever since. One day we went there and got news that they closed and might move to other place. Then couple weeks ago we saw it at Trans Studio Mall! How come we missed it?? hahaaa..
Toast Set |
Toast Set is just the right option for us on anytime. And if you still have a space in your tummy, go get another meal, like this one.. I forgot the name but it did taste good. Angel hair noodle with fried tofu, egg and bean sprouts, with curry-like sauce. A bit spicy. But those iced lychees is just totally refreshing!

Sometimes it's fun to have a day without anything and anyone but just the two, oops.. three of us. Shopping for the baby, having lunch at our favorite cafe, chit-chatting and taking pictures of us.
Did I mention that I am a pregnant lady now? hihii.. Of course I'm more than happy to share it. Today is my 34th week. Even from the very first time we know that there is that little life inside of me, everything has been so magical! And now we are already getting ready to welcoming our little baby to the world. Look at those cute little outfits that we just bought for Qavi..
